The payment mechanism has been approved on the Ejar platform through the digital channels on the platform. This comes in implementation of the Council of Ministers’ decision to make the necessary arrangements to provide the electronic payment service for lease contract payments, to preserve the rights of the parties to the rental process, enhance the level of transparency in real estate operations, and reduce fraudulent operations in them.
She stressed that the “bank transfer” is not one of the digital payment channels in “Ejar”, and is considered one of the payment methods outside the platform, explaining that the digital payment channels in it are “Mada” or “Sadad” using the biller number “153”, revealing that limiting Payment through digital payment channels is currently applied to residential contracts only, and not to commercial contracts.
How to make rental payments by the tenant via Mada:
1- Go to the “Financial List” in Ejar and choose “View Invoices”
2- Choose “Contract” from the side menu
3- Click on “Make a Payment”
4- You will be taken to the payment page to pay the total amount due
5- Enter the required amount and then confirm the order
6- Register your mada card data and choose “Pay Now”
How to pay rent payments by the tenant via (SADAD ):
1- Using your bank account application, choose from the main menu
(Electronic payments / bill payment)
2- Choose (Add invoice / One-time payment)
3- Select the billing party (Ejar – 153)
4- Enter the account number (contract number)
5- The (due amount) will appear to you, and then you can enter the amount you want to pay
6-Pay your bill now
